Had a rainy week in Hawaii thanks to the Kona Low storm system, saw more lightning than I have on the island in the past decade. A tree fell on my house, and my roof leaked and black mold appeared. I am crediting the pound of Hog Heaven coffee I consumed with helping me get through the storm and home repairs!

Mike was in the military taking care of machines, so if you get to tour Hog Heaven Coffee, you will notice he keeps the coffee machinery tip top shape, and all the prep and roasting are done with high precision. The fragrance/aroma just from opening the bag of beans is superb moment in the morning itself. Hamakua Coast is tropical rainforest and the climate the farm is at is pristine. I am savoring a sip as I write this. Though I generally add a tad of cream then whole milk to my coffee, I can STILL differentiate excellent tasting coffee. Sometimes I drink excellent tasting coffee plain (but thinner, more normal coffee scoops to water whereas with cream and whole milk it is LOTS of scoops per cup). Hog Heaven is deLISH! I must add my bias— I love HAZEL!

A friend of ours is also a friend of yours, and she gave us some of your coffee when they came to visit us in Colorado from San Diego. The coffee is nice and smooth and has a wonderful taste, hence the reason we order more from your website.

We think the coffee is a good reflection of the hard work and dedication of the owners and the beautiful environment in which it was grown. Enjoy a cup of this unique coffee.

I’ve always drunk coffee, but always needed to add creamer to cut the bitterness. But not with coffee! I love it. It’s not bitter, it’s not burned, it’s perfect. I don’t even need creamer. If you think a Starbucks coffee sucks, you’ll love this coffee. It actually tastes good.

So far I have tried the Medium roast. It is a delightful coffee with nice fruity flavor. This is typical of a City or American roast and not the darker level of the “medium” roast of some west coast roasters which is more of a Full City or Vienna roast.

We had the joy of visiting Hog Heaven in October 2022 and brought some delicious coffee back with us to MD but we quickly drank through our supply and it was obvious that we simply could not go back to store-brand coffee. We joined the monthly club and have not looked back since! Not only is the coffee incredible but we are thrilled to support such an amazing small business and the people/dogs who work hard to run it.

I’ve always drunk coffee, but always needed to add creamer to cut the bitterness. But not with coffee! I love it. It’s not bitter, it’s not burned, it’s perfect. I don’t even need creamer. If you think a Starbucks coffee sucks, you’ll love this coffee. It actually tastes good.

So far I have tried the Medium roast. It is a delightful coffee with nice fruity flavor. This is typical of a City or American roast and not the darker level of the “medium” roast of some west coast roasters which is more of a Full City or Vienna roast.

We had the joy of visiting Hog Heaven in October 2022 and brought some delicious coffee back with us to MD but we quickly drank through our supply and it was obvious that we simply could not go back to store-brand coffee. We joined the monthly club and have not looked back since! Not only is the coffee incredible but we are thrilled to support such an amazing small business and the people/dogs who work hard to run it.

Too light a brew. Would be nice to have a darker roast to bring out the flavor.

Nothing is better to brew a freshly ground cup of Hog Heaven's coffee from the mountain sides of the Big Island.... deliciously heavenly... every cup!
